Going by the University of Alaska’s Geophysical Center, our friends to the North are in for a spectacular night. Here
25 years or so ago the lights were visible in northeast Ohio. They were breath taking. I hope we can see them again here. The only other time I saw them was in Kiel, Germany on the Baltic.
It has been two years since Rush’s passing, the lights are him saying “stay the course”

I saw the Norther Lights when I was in Alaska on a training mission. Our Satellite shot kept dropping and the sight supervisor told us to stand down until the Geo storm passed. It was a neat lightshow.
