Here’s a project that was completed awhile back, and “our friend and fellow iOTWer” has authorized me to share it with you.
This is a painting of their house which will hang above their mantle.
Here is the painting, unframed, showing where it will be displayed.
I hope this gives some readers out there some ideas!
Thank you to the “client” for entrusting me with this family heirloom.
Beautiful!
Beautiful painting of a beautiful scene!
Nice! Our BFH pet portrait hangs in our dining room so our beloved critter can eat with us.
OT: Cuomo resigned!
Having a personalized, high quality painting, done by a friend, is really a treasure. Nicely done!
I like it!!
Great painting, but I have an observation. No chimney in the painting–but it’s hung over a fire place.
@Patrick
Good observation. The fireplace is at the end of a single story wing off the back of the house. The chimney is hidden by the ridge of the main roof.
I like it. Photographs capture one moment in time to perfection. A painting captures eternity.
The Molon Labe giclee(?) print you did Fur was the last piece of art I took down in AR and he first I put up in WA.
I made a gorgeous black walnut/cherry frame for it.
I’ve(actually you have) gotten numerous compliments
@Anonymous 12:52. Duly Noted!
Nice one, Fur.
I’m considering another this year, probably hit ya around Christmas. Sent Claudia the photo for Critters, you’re next. 😀
I love that! I have an idea for a Christmas present for my son and his wife now!! I will email you!!
Beautiful! This is a very lucky person. BFH has done two pet portraits for me and they are my treasures. I have seen other pet portraits that cost more then twice as much.
You are multi-talented.
