  2. To me a stereotypical Mississippi sheriff would be something on the order of the LEO in “Live and Let Die,” white overweight, overbearing (addressing people as “son,” “boy,” and “little lady”) and most likely racist.

    I haven’t been to Mississippi in 30 years, so the stereotype might have changed without me knowing it.
