Nun’s body exhumed, found uncorrupted four years after death

JTN: The body of a Missouri nun was found uncorrupted, four years after her death, when members of her order exhumed her coffin to relocate it below the altar of a church.

Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster died in May 2019 at the age of 95. She founded the Benedictine Sisters of Mary, Queen of the Apostles at the age of 70, according to the New York Post.

During the exhumation, one of the sisters noticed that Lancaster’s foot remained intact after peering through a crack in the coffin. Cemetery personnel had previously warned them there would likely only be bones within the container. MORE

  1. True, afterall, there are no miracles… right? Historically, there are many cases like this with the deeply religious.

  2. If she was uncorrupted she’d still be alive.

  3. Uncorrupted?
So she was never nailed by a local priest?

  4. Bet she’s more lively than Nancy Feinstein.

  5. She was NINETY-FIVE!!!!! How much more corruption can there be?????

  6. Wow, it didn’t take long for the anti-Catholics to chime in.

  7. Four years? Meh. Imagine how long someone as pickled as Nancy Pelosi would last?

  8. Catholic Nuns bewildered, she’s “mostly” unchanged, but still dead.

Dig me up after 20 or 50 years, I will
be unchanged from the day I was buried.
I was cremated and placed in a sealed water tight urn.

  9. If that got up and started walking around they would not say uncorrupted.

  10. Wow. These comments make me sad. Hoping they’re bot comments, or trolls or whatever. Not fellow IOTW patriots. Your anti-Catholic bigotry is sickening.

  11. Not anti-Catholic, Tony.
    Just pointing out the facts.
