This is heartbreaking!
This poor nurse was forced to complete the horrible process of abortion, against her will, against her religion. She has nightmares! The rights of nurses must be protected! Congress must pass the Conscience Protection Act!— MagaGary (@magagary687) February 1, 2019

Cha Ching.
Good for her.
The text of the bill is here: https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/115/hr644/text
I’m not a lawyer, but I think the bill will have to be reintroduced, as it was not passed by the last session of congress, and was removed on 3 Jan., 2019, with the seating of the new congress. It should be presented again and passed.
“(1)Thomas Jefferson stated a conviction common to our Nation’s founders when he declared in 1809 that [n]o provision in our Constitution ought to be dearer to man than that which protects the rights of conscience against the enterprises of the civil authority.”
RN here, but I work on the other end of the spectrum, so to speak. I work with dementia patients and often with hospice in that realm. Sometimes private, usually institutional. I’ve never been asked to work in an abortion procedure, nor would I. I ain’t gonna bake that cake, thank you. I do know nurses who will not work in institutions that perform abortions, just to avoid the potential of this conflict. And they are often the most talented and compassionate.
My goodness, they take our fucking tax money to pay for abortions, then they demand that we have to help them carry them out?
NO
Looked it up and it was introduced in the house 2 years ago and no further action taken on it. Sometimes I really despise Republicans.
How are the monsters who perform abortions day in and day out not affected by the horror that is abortion. How do they reconcile the body parts of a murdered baby that have to be inventoried and accounted for with the “clump of cells” narrative?
The same questions were asked of the concentration camp guards.
Humans, I use that word cautiously, can justify anything they want. And then just look the other way.
Toby,
I hope that you are never asked to participate in the Euthanasia as it is now practiced here in Canada – evil on both ends of life. Our societies are in deep, deep moral trouble.
The abortionists are about as humane as the Nazi death camp operators. I don’t see any difference between them.
