Last year a man from Philadelphia was kicked out of a Manhattan bar because he was wearing a MAGA hat.
He sued.
The judge threw his case out saying that the bar was within their rights because political beliefs are not protected by the law.

Time was a business could refuse service to anyone. As a “motorcycle enthusiast”, I know 1st hand. Back in the 70s and early 80s, me and my Panhead got ran off a bunch of places, even gas stations.

I have absolutely no problem asking contractors and salesmen who they voted for in the last few elections. They sometimes ask if I’m serious and are a little taken aback when assured that I certainly am. With this simple filter, I get excellent service across the board.
