AIM: New York Times columnist David Brooks penned a column on his evolving views of the anti-Trump/Never Trump movement in politics. Brooks pointed out that he is a member of the anti-Trump movement among conservatives, and expressed his disappointment in their knee-jerk criticism of the president.
In praising the widely debunked book, “Fire and Fury,” by Michael Wolff, Brooks said the anti-Trump conservative movement “seems to be getting dumber”:
I mention these inconvenient observations because the anti-Trump movement, of which I’m a proud member, seems to be getting dumber. It seems to be settling into a smug, fairy tale version of reality that filters out discordant information. read more
SNIP: David Brooks thinks he’s a Conservative? LOL.
When I stopped laughing I almost pitied this moron.
No, not getting dumber. Y’all just as stupid as you ever were. You are only now becoming aware of it.
“Conservative NYTimes Columnist”
That’s got to be the funniest oxymoron ever.
Brian Klaas, Evelyn Farkas, and Comey’s best leaking friend, Benjamin Wittes, were out in force together this morning with Morning Schmoe. Living in reality? Not a one of them.
“Bias confirmation ” is a cruel master.
Brooks has always been a paid shill.
I predict we will live to see the NYT change hands for $1, plus debt and pensions.
True, David, but just look at all those creases…flawless.
Brooks is about as conservative JEB!. He’s the NYT’s token pseudo conservative that they trot out from time to time critise Trump (or Bush or Limbaugh et al) and to prove to the world that the Times is and even handed, non-partisan rag. It’s not the left that’s getting dumber I think he can include himself and the rest of the Never Trump pissants.
