New York City is planning to compensate protesters from a 2020 demonstration following George Floyd’s death with $21,500 each in a new settlement.
In the proposed settlement, the city has agreed to pay $21,500 to each member of the class-action suit, plus an additional $2,500 to those who were issued “Desk Appearance Tickets.” Payoff
They’re a bunch of cheap pikers compared to some in California who want to give ancestors of slaves 5 million dollars each in reparations for slavery. I say no money, or any recognition of any sort should be given to these BLM ingrates, nothing, zero, zip, nada. This will not end well, as always when the law of unintended consequences kicks in.
Seems only fair. A lot of people are still grieving over that cold-blooded murder of an innocent man and role model to the community. Erecting statues, putting “I can’t breathe” on T-shirts, and even looting every Apple store in the nation, none of this is fair recompense in honoring the Rosa Parks of our generation. Pony up, you white bastards, for the systemic racism that has kept the black man down all these years.
America would be better off if New York City was nuked.

Chump change when you consider this…In 1992 when I was in the NYPD Police Academy my brother (he graduated the year prior) was walking a footpost on the lower east side (Alphabet City. He goes in to a bodega while it’s being robbed (held up) by two wonderful humans with a sawed off shotgun. With his 6 shot Ruger he lit em both up. One dead on scene and the other wounded. Long story short….NYC paid the POS that lied 200K to shut up and go away. Seems it’s cheaper for the city to just throw cash at em with the agreement they don’t sue which apparently would cost the city more to just fight.
He was completely indemnified (justified) so no $$ outta his pocket. and I quote “I don’t give a fuck what the city pays them, I killed his pos friend and he’s shitting in a bag the rest of his miserable life and I got 8hrs overtime for shooting them both”
