FAKE NEWS: NYT CLAIMS TRUMP SAID ALL HAITIANS HAVE AIDS.
The only thing less reliable than an anonymous source is The New York Times using an anonymous source to smear Donald Trump. Their latest attack alleges that Trump disparaged immigrants from Africa and Haiti as being poor hut-dwelling terrorists with AIDS. Making this fake news even faker is that the people who are willing to have their names used have completely disputed the claim. The NYT published it anyways, because that’s what they do.
There’s a lot of liberal blah blah blah, but here’s the NYT’s bombshell:
According to six officials who attended or were briefed about the meeting, Mr. Trump then began reading aloud from the document, which his domestic policy adviser, Stephen Miller, had given him just before the meeting. The document listed how many immigrants had received visas to enter the United States in 2017.
More than 2,500 were from Afghanistan, a terrorist haven, the president complained.
Haiti had sent 15,000 people. They “all have AIDS,” he grumbled, according to one person who attended the meeting and another person who was briefed about it by a different person who was there.
Forty thousand had come from Nigeria, Mr. Trump added. Once they had seen the United States, they would never “go back to their huts” in Africa, recalled the two officials, who asked for anonymity to discuss a sensitive conversation in the Oval Office.
Did you get that? Some of these sources weren’t even present in the meeting, they were just “briefed” about it.
It’s almost 3 am, I just got up to take a leak and spotted this. Just remember a lie can go around the world twice before the truth can get it’s boots on.. Good night.
Yeah I don’t like the term “fake news” when its really a lie. Fake news is those click bait ads about “You won’t believe what these child stars look like today! Number 25 will turn your stomach!”
The New York Times headquarters building in Manhattan has two floors below street level and the bottom floor is strictly limited access. The floor contains a caged holding area along with several small “play” rooms used by the executives and special guests. There are between 25-35 underage children kept there at any given time. These children are horribly abused and then disposed of.
At least that’s what I heard from somebody.
Judging by past performance, we’re going to find out next week, in a newly discovered email, that Hillary is the one who actually said it.
So five people being told something by a sixth (or whatever numbers) makes for six independent sources?
So that’s what passes for journalism these days?
NY Times: “My sister’s friend’s boyfriend’s mom and her twin were at the mall shopping for my fat cousin, Jessica’s birthday, and they heard that Trump said, “Eeew Haitian people have AIDS and junk. So gross! And I totally believe he said that, because he would totally be at that mall, being all rich and stuff. Ugh!”
I’d suggest the New York Times take an example from a few of the checkout line news rags if they want to save even a shred of credibility.
Everybody notice how the NYT and WaPo staff have begun to steadily inflate the numbers mentioned in their imaginary revelations by imaginary sources of nonexistent meetings?
Because “six different anonymous sources@ sounds so much more convincing. (Sarc).
And because having “six high level sources” makes the “reporter” sound so well connected and valuable.
Especially useful since the “reporter” is 27, has three housemates, a Masters in Intersectional Studies and posts from the living room couch.
Six sources from the same freaking meeting? So literally everyone at the meeting immediately speed dialed Whatsername Ace Reportrix with their scandalized indignation at the latest Trump Outrage ™.
Riiiiight.
Eventually it will be twenty sources, then fifty, then Eleventy.
