NYTs Writer Details “Why Readers See the NYTs as Liberal”

A writer at the times spent thousands of words offering her analysis as to why readers might see the NYTs as having a liberal bias.

Our own PageOTurner saved a lot of time and words proving the Times’ bias by performing just one click of the mouse.

The first image is the way the article appears on the Times’ website:Screen Shot 2016-08-14 at 11.25.19 AM

Here’s what happens when you tweet the article to your Twitter timeline for all to see :

As you can see, I also tweeted it to verify PageOTurner’s findings.

A story that the right-wing would be more inclined to tweet, a story about a NY Times writer admitting to obvious NY Times liberal bias, turned into a Hillary for President ad on your timeline.

No, there’s no liberal bias at The NY Times. None.

  1. Thanks, BFH. I also found it amusing to read the tweets of the press reporting some Fairfield, CT Trump rally goers gave them the finger. They forgot CT has been solidly Democrat for years, branding all Trump ralliers as “smelly”, “stupid” and “uneducated.”

Given the failing record Democrat controlled schools and comments by Jonathan Gruber, I thought that’s the way Democrats liked them.

  2. She reminds me of the country club matron who sniffs how she’s not anti-Semitic….and that some her best friends are Jewish, while beckoning the black busboy to come fill her water glass.
If she’s hoping that her worst nightmare hasn’t already happened, it has. And if she thinks her boss (owner Carlos Slim) approves of anything positive about Trump, she’s more far gone than she believes is possible.
The Slimes used to set the agenda…now it scratches its head wondering where all that power went.

  3. I’ll repeat this childhood memory for any newbies.

The Times always used to call our house in the 1950s peddling subscriptions. I can still remember my mother, with her perfect Locust Valley Lockjaw diction, telling the hapless phone salesman, “I’m so sorry, but I wouldn’t wipe my ass with the Times.” And indeed, my father wouldn’t even allow it in the house.

Decades later, I got the same call. This was at the peak of the Jayson Blair scandal. I couldn’t even rise to a decent second-generation imitation of Mom’s steely blowoff, I was so convulsed with giggles. Finally I managed to blurt out, “YOU’RE SHITTING ME, RIGHT?”

    Ah, good times.

  4. “Liberal” bias is a farce.
The NYT is a socialist propaganda rag, and always has been.

    They denied Stalin’s Ukrainian Holodomor.
They supported Hitler until the opening of Barbarossa.
They saw the “future” and it was the Soviet Union.
They never met a socialist dictator they could criticize.
They supported the socialist uprisings in Africa – and the consequent millions of deaths of innocent Africans.
They supported Mao’s “Great Leap Forward” and “Let a Hundred Flowers Bloom” and the “Cultural Revolution” which led to the deaths of more than 80 million chinks.

Fuck them. “Liberals” believe in Liberty – which is why the socialists have appropriated the term, without attribution or consequence. Freedom lovers everywhere should refuse to acquiesce to the farce of calling murderous socialists “Liberals.”

    izlamo delenda est …

  5. ROTFLMFAO over all the Locust Valley lockjaw comments.

My mother used to criticize me for moving my mouth too much when I spoke, a total indictment of her LVL.

Who’s this Thurston Howell guy? IMHO, the best example of LVL is the actress Joanna Barnes playing the role of Gloria Upson in the film version of “Auntie Mame.” Barnes had impeccable LVL credentials, hailing from President Bush I’s hometown of Milton, Massachsetts, and having graduated from Smith College. She was, God bless her, a prepping all the way.
