Observing elections in St. Petersburg [April 9]

Golos: On April 9, by-elections of municipal deputies will be held in the city of St. Petersburg, five mandates are distributed. The local councils will be staffed in Krasnoye Selo, the village of Ponton in the Kolpinsky District, as well as in the Yuzhno-Primorsky District of St. Petersburg.

Two deputies are to be elected in  Krasnoye Selo . 15 candidates were declared for the elections – representatives of the United Russia, LDPR, New People, Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth and Yabloko parties, as well as four self-nominated candidates, two of whom dropped out of the race – one received refusal to register, the second withdrew his candidacy from the elections voluntarily.

Anna Pavlova, head physician of the local polyclinic, and Tatyana Isakova, director of the cultural center, were announced as administrative favorites. They will be opposed by the director of the management company Igor Lubashov from the Communist Party; Acting municipal deputy and director of LLC “Takelazh-Neva” Galina Simonenkova from “Fair Russia”, Yelena Kozlyakovskaya and others. more
