Children’s Book Illustrator Punished for Drawing Commenting on Nashville Shooting

Fox News

A children’s book illustrator from Alaska known for drawing mother-baby animal pairs like sea otters and wolves was dropped by his publisher this week after authorities allege he posted transphobic notes threatening children.

Mitchell Thomas Watley, 47, will have a preliminary hearing April 11 in Juneau on a single count of terroristic threatening for allegedly placing notes in businesses that included an assault rifle superimposed over the transgender flag. The text on the notes read: “Feeling Cute Might Shoot Some Children.” More

In case it wasn’t clear enough in the Fox News article, Watley was arrested Friday on the suspicion of threatening children. Here

The note is obviously an expression of protected free speech on the recent Nashville shooting, not a threat against children. – Dr. Tar

  1. I miss Dilbert, Scott Adams was right. The newest annual award given to cartoonists for being the bravest and boldest in speaking and drawing the truth about the world and our demented society should be named in Scott Adams honor. And the pointy headed boss and the bald chrome dome CEO could be the master of ceremonies in giving out the honor along with Dilbert, Dogbert, the evil Catbert and Wally etc. Just think how fun that would be. And they could hold the ceremonies in Elbonia.

I’ve always liked Scott Adams. Read many of his books and his comics always went against the grain of wokeness crap.

But I guess success and power tend to corrupt.

It ticks me off to no end that Adams would even think about supporting those thugs, but I tend to not follow personal stuff related to ‘famous’ people that I respect for their work.
