Apparently a lot of people know the kids who played on the hockey team in the movie The Mighty Ducks. I never saw the movie.
The goalie kid was just arrested. They say his mugshot is “super sad.”
How so? He just looks like he’s from West Hollywood, that’s all. Give the guy a star!
I didn’t need TMZ to tell me he’s a meth head. I can see it. I hope he gets his act together. Being a child star seems to be a coin flip for how your life will turn out.
Despite my sarcastic West Hollywood remark, I do wish this guy well.
Just the other day I was thinking about Rusty from The Danny Thomas Show. I streamed a few episodes and he was as great as I remembered. That kid was one of the best and funniest child actors.
I decided to see where he is now.
Big mistake.
He committed suicide. And the suicide was related to not being able to capture the fame he had as a kid.
The things mentioned, plus how many of those kids were abused, after being plied with drugs.
Meanwhile, the cast of the Bad News Bears turned out just fine.

Ah, I recall several years ago wondering if Carrie Henn, the little girl who played Newt in the Aliens movie had appeared in any other movies. I found a website that stated her father was in the USAF stationed in the UK when Aliens was filmed and it was the only movie Carrie ever appeared in.
Many people posted comments that she had blown her big chance to be a star and she was an idiot for not grabbing the chance for stardom. Along with many others I thought good for her. She did something fun when very young, and avoided the tragedy that destroys many child stars. Carrie went on to become a school teacher and mom. However, thirty years later she did agree to appear in an Alien tribute movie, but Fox shutdown the movie claiming ownership of the Alien theme.
