Release the hounds!
Still miss my old buddy Linus (first dog I had after getting out of the Navy) – he was a big red and white male Basset with huge floppy ears. We spent many hours cuddling, drinking Canadian whiskey, and studying during my initial college years.
He and I also field qualified – tons of fun.
He taught me how to give a speech and tolerate reading economics.
Thank you God for giving us dogs.

That was fun, I want to see how the Bassett hounds fare in the race against the dachshunds and other dogs in the all dog race on Labor Day. If they’d been chasing rabbits or racoons it might even have been more entertaining.
