Omar Fateh — a progressive Democrat — won the official endorsement of the Democratic Farm-Labor Party (DFL) on Saturday to become mayor of Minneapolis.
Fateh won the endorsement over current Democratic Mayor Jacob Frey, as reported by the Minneapolis-based KARE 11.
“I am incredibly honored to be the DFL-endorsed candidate for Minneapolis Mayor. This endorsement is a message that Minneapolis residents are done with broken promises, vetoes, and politics as usual. It’s a mandate to build a city that works for all of us,” Fateh said in a post to X on Saturday. MORE HERE

Socialist/communist policies in our major cities aren’t working, so the obvious answer is….more socialism/communism? Giving people free stuff – which was an important part of the war on poverty from the 1960s forward – didn’t eliminate poverty. Raising the minimum wage didn’t turn out to be the panacea for lower income working folk – most people who acquire skills earn more than minimum wage anyway and it’s usually the entry level jobs that are eliminated. Putting the screws to business frequently results in less businesses but – on the flip side – more crime.
Good luck Minneapolis, but if I were a betting man I would give good odds that Fateh will make things worse.

The DFL is no longer the party of Hubert Humphrey anymore obviously. Hell, even Jesse “the body” Ventura was a better governor than this Somali POS. Minnesota is no longer Minnesota nice any more or even the home of Lake Wobegone. Minneapolis’s woes are just about to begin if they elect this POS muzzie as their next mayor. And all the muzzie retards (their IQ is in the idiot stage) and guilty white liberals have a collective IQ of less than 70.
For what it’s worth my church even sponsored some Somali refugees back in the 80’s and 90’s but they never stuck around and moved on to Minnesota for all I know. They just wouldn’t assimilate to American ways and never fit in because they were so clannish. And we still have a very small minority of Somalis in eastern Wash. state. I occasionally still see a few at the grocery store buying groceries with EBT cards.
The only way to fight the democRAT trend to Socialism/Communism is is to make them survive on their own policies. Withhold any and all Federal monies and graphically show people just what happens! Let ’em sink or swim and I know which one will happen first!
