Only Black People Get Thirsty and Hungry

The Hill-

Georgia law makes it a crime to give food, water to people waiting to vote.

The new law includes giving food and water in a section on electioneering that places new restrictions on the practice. It compares food and drink to gifts that might be given to a voter.

The law has been criticized by voting rights groups as potentially suppressing the vote of Black voters.

These groups have noted that Black voters in the state often can be waiting in long lines for a chance to vote, and they see the water and food provision as targeting such voters.

  1. It isn’t the “Black voters” they really care about, they’re just a tool to be used in preventing anything that would interfere with illegitimate voting, vote fraud, and other crooked voting activities that they want to keep protected.

  3. *sad music plays*

“Some people only manage to eat and drink on their vote day during election season. Won’t you please send $15 every two weeks, to help a poor black adult get his or her meal not only on Federal Election Day, but on state and local election day too?”

    Oh this delicious muffin
That brings me to my knees
In the arms of the poll worker
Push the button they tell you here
From this dark cold voting booth
And the election observer that you fear
You are pulled into the wreckage
    Of election fraud
You’re in the arms of the poll worker
May you find some comfort here

  5. But they can still give them (negro voters and negro preachers) walkin-roun money?

If the lines are so long potential voters are starving to death or dying of dehydration, then open more polling places! WTF?

This ain’t rocket surgery, even in Georgia.

    izlamo delenda est …
