CAIRO – Egypt’s police and military killed 12 Egyptians and Mexicans and injured 10 when they accidentally shot at a Mexican tourist convoy whilst engaging militants in the country’s western desert, the ministry of interior said on Monday.

“Accidentally” my ass. I was in Egypt a few years ago and there were plain-clothes dudes on the tour busses with machine pistols under their coats. I asked the guide about it and she said that tour busses were targets of terrorists.
