Outgoing state Sen. Patty Schachtner, a full-time county medical examiner, earlier this year claimed to be “indefinitely confined,” receiving the special status accorded under state election law. The Democrat and her husband signed a statement claiming they were confined to their home “because of age, physical illness or infirmity” in seeking an absentee ballot to be automatically sent to their Somerset home.
It begs the question: If the lawmaker is “indefinitely confined,” how has she performed her duties as St. Croix County’s Medical Examiner these past six months?
Medical Examiner wouldn’t seem to be a remote gig. The St. Croix Medical Examiner’s Office’s mission is “to serve the public with trained medicolegal death investigators to ensure accurate and scientific investigations when determining cause and manner of death,” according to the M.E.’s website. …IDK, our coroner back in my day was lazy as hell, always jobbing out transport, forensic tests, even autopsies. Dude rarely showed up at the morgue, and never at a scene, so if you cut his legs off you’d never know the difference.
…that said, I prefer it to the Democrat one we have NOW that does “activist autopsies” so if a protected class murders a college student or a musician in the Green Zone they can claim it wasn’t MURDER murder, or more recently blaming everything on Covid because that’s what Democrats DO…
…at least with the lazy guy there was a CHANCE you’d get an unbiased autopsy. But he also didn’t watch the store so people went in and did nonconsensual “art” projects with the corpses, but that’s a different story for another day…

Sounds like bullshit to me…… Sic a private investigator on her while she’s out and about, nothing like some glossy photos on the news to dispel the so called “indefinitely confined” myth.
