I want some GOP member to propose a bill, call it the Sheila Jackson Lee Family Compassion Act. This law would state, that anyone sent to prison in the USA will be accompanied by their entire family for the duration of their sentence. Think what that would do to the crime rate in the inner cities, if all the gang bangers brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc had to serve the full time also.
Does endangering the welfare of a child come to mind? Child abuse? Does dragging a young child along with you as you make a questionable, dangerous trip into another country sound like a good idea? How about doing it via the neighboring countries guidelines and rules?? Maybe you should re-think about the child’s safety first. Oh, wait, you don’t really care about the child except as a sympathy card to play if needed.
