Texas. Less patriotic than New Mesiko.
Hahahahahahaha
You people are never gonna’ live this down.
Maryland 5th place?
MD is a seething cesspool.
Texicans have always been more concerned w/ Tejas than the rest of the US … like the NY’ers. now that they have the Kali locusts & the Bushies, they’re hosed
btw, the algorithms in this study are waaaaaaaaay off
This is complete BS, or South Dakota would not be 33. And I fled CO and I don’t know of any patriotic events going anywhere there outside of WY.
& another btw … all these ‘index’ studies are nothing but bogus click-bait
best states to retire
best states to raise your yard-apes
best states to dump mom’s ashes
best states to get a full chakra massage
best states to go to a ‘mostly peaceful’ protest
best states to infest w/ your totally ignorant virtue-warrior ideas
best states to keep your kids out of your will
best states to catch the Kung Flu
Interesting idea, but the methodology is swampy bullshit. How many state citizens participate in Americorps has zero to do with their love of country and fellow citizens.
Although I’d expect to see my state of CT toward the bottom, you’ll still find plenty of patriotic Americans here.
What a crock.
NY and NJ are last!
Way to go…
Wyoming: Most guns per person.
My little brother lives in Wheatland, Wyoming. He helps keep the guns per person ratio where it needs to be.
What Boehnerdict Ryan said about the methodology, truth. I joined the Peace Corps back in the Stone Age simply to run away from home at the age of 21. It had nothing to do with patriotism. In case you’re curious I taught math in Ferkessedougou, Ivory Coast.
Total BS!
The country I see now doesn’t resemble the one that taught me about patriotism.
Wake me up when somebody publishes a “study” on
THE BEST STATE TO BE LEFT THE HELL ALONE.
@joe6pak – when I move to Wyoming in five years, I will call your brother, and I’ll make sure to call first. Surprise!
@Tsunami – make sense right? Middle of effing nowhere! In a good way of course…
@ Uncle Al – back in the way day? It used to be New Hampshire, Live Free or Die.
ghost, in my late teens I lived in Wyoming. We had a good time. Too bad it was a 21 year old state, we could have had a lot of fun. But then maybe it’s a good thing it was a 21 year old state.
Peace Corps….pfft.
Just between you and me, I’m the reason it says “NO AFFILIATION WITH THE CIA ACCEPTED” In big black letters on the application page.
Jeeze, one Beechcraft full of fun stuff get’s busted in Nairobi and now an entire governmental agency has to pay the price.
Lamentably, I regret nothing.
South Dakota? ? ? Thirty Third? ? ? ?
You can kiss my shiny metal ass. SD is damn near on top of this list. Especially with the best Governor in the nation. We have Constitutional carry.
This is a crap survey.
I mourn for my country as it once was. I fear what it is becoming.
PA – 37th 🙄
Get rid of Pittsburgh & Philthy, we’d be Top 10!
@ Uncle Al – the state of death is the only one.
Right up there with blm.
