Peanuts Specials Off The Nets, Only On Apple TV+ Now

NBC News

Fans of the classic “Peanuts” comic-strip are expressing outrage over the fact that the quintessential animated holidayspecials based on the series have moved to the Apple TV+ streaming service instead of airing on network television.

The beloved holiday specials, which include “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” will be available exclusively on the platform along with new specials in development, Apple TV+ announced Monday. The classic Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas specials will still be available for free during short windows of time around the holidays. More

  1. The next thing to go will be the annual showing of The Ten Commandments on ABC every Easter weekend for as long as I can remember. When I was at NAS Miramar and living in an open shared barracks in the Spring of 1973 and a shared TV I still remember one guy in my squadron saying that it was the best sci fi movie that he’d ever seen when we were all watching it together. And I suppose annual showings of It’s A Wonderful Life on NBC will be dropped as well and A Christmas Story because it mentions and shows BB guns (and glorifies cowboys as well) which the left hates and all the kids are white. Especially if that idiot joey manages to steal the election, God forbid. It’s just another of at least a bazillion reasons that I despise and hate the left. Note to the networks quit messing with us, we already hate your guts as it is.

  3. been rummaging through the $5 bins at Wally-World & other places for movies & tv shows & specials. every time I order stuff I try to slip in a DVD or 2

it’s not going to be long before they start pulling movies, tv specials off the market because The People’s Culture Committee has deemed certain things ‘offensive’ to ‘the common good’ …. already are doing it to ‘Blazing Saddles’ & ‘Gone With The Wind’ where they’re putting in ‘disclaimers’ & mandatory ‘discussions’ before you can watch the movies

  4. I really like some of the Apple products over competitor products, but don’t care much for some of the people running the show at Apple, or people on their board of directors or some of their causes they support outside of the company. Well, actually it’s a really a lot more negative than ‘don’t care much for’. This kind of thing is a hint at why.

Been meaning to let you know I like your MAGA hat.

It’s a sad day in America when you can’t enjoy the holiday specials. Watching Peanuts was always a tradition in our household.

These Commies must be defeated. 🤬

  6. @Flip – ‘Linus Recites Saul Alinsky’.

Uh, that is being a BIT sacrilegious don’t ya think?

IOW. Linus is OFF limits. He is an Old Soul and certainly NOT a Communist.

    It’s a good thing it’s ‘color’ized to begin with…

Thanks @Miss Kitty – I DIG it too! Thanks to @Charlie WalksonWater…for gittin’ it done.

All three Peanuts holiday programs are sold out at Amazon, Best Buy, WalMart, B&N, etc.
Of course, you could pay $99 each for the DVDs used.

Save your money for rolls of Charmin in the coming lockdowns.
