56 Comments on Pearl Harbor Survivors Are Old and Have No Teeth

  1. I’ve just intercepted a cable that was sent out to all leftists in media.

    Here’s what it said –

“In order to spread our message most effectively, with no opposition from the right, it’s best to have it delivered from people much of the right has never heard of. We’ve been monitoring website comments and, comically, when our message is delivered on major networks by people who are unrecognizable and out of their purview, there is no outrage nor push back. In fact, it works to our advantage twofold. We sense that some right-wing bloggers are getting so exasperated they may quit. Keep it up, people. We will win this thing!”

  2. and how where we supposed to know this was on major media? I still have no idea what channel it was on. A low resolution vid with no station logo and almost unrecognizable faces with what looks like a Geico ad is not much to go on. We ain’t stupid, but we ain’t mind readers either.

  3. With all due respect, Fur, it isn’t necessary to watch this drivel to despise it. Personally, I just simply don’t have the stomach for it…which is why I come to sites like this in the first place. I let those of you with higher disgust thresholds synopsize it for me so I don’t have to actually watch it.

I suspect that I’m not alone in this, which would explain why so many had no idea who these glittering jewels are or what hapless venue aired the babble.

  4. @Fur — I read you loud and clear.

Listen up, folks! The only way to push the left over a cliff is to push the left over a cliff. Dismissing stuff like this is exactly what they want us to do — for conservatives to not acknowledge it — so they can continue to carve out their narrative. We must respond to every single incidence of their effort.

Aren’t “old and toothless” WWII vets just as important as Phil?

  5. One of the best Christmas gifts I’ve ever been given was a book of a bunch of my fathers WW2 pictures in it from my wife. She found a bunch of them we had, got some from some relatives. It’s awesome. Great photos of him and his flight crew in England, etc. Every time I pick it up it brings tears to my eyes. Partly because I still miss my dad and partly realizing how young the people were when they were asked to lay their live on the line. I’d like to hit the fat black guy in the face so hard his whole family tree felt it.

  6. That’s not how media works, where you just send out a blanket, I despise the left, and then the day is done.

To affect change in 2014 a Google search must show hit after hit after hit of blogs and people outraged by Natasha Leggero’s statement, a collective tsunami.
If that doesn’t happen, she emerges unscathed.

Where is the Phil Robertson story if after GQ did their hit piece and the first few blogs that picked it up the leftist commenters said “who??” “who cares?” “yawn” “present”?

I put up this video of Natasha because I saw it brewing on twitter. The video says NBC broadcast under it.
It’s not necessary to know who she is. It’s NBC.

We become part of the google search. The more hits, the more concern from NBC. The more concern the less opportunity for leftists.

    Menderman,
with a straight face you’re going to tell me that people haven’t put, time and time and time, over and over and over again, the stupid ass “who’s that?” “who cares?” “why should I care what they think?” comment on videos and stories of people doing and saying stupid things where it is clear they are on MSNBC?? (or wherever)
They say it about people who are actually pretty famous.

Do you know that just last night, on Gawker, I read leftists saying that they do not expect MSNBC to last another year because of the run of dumb things they have been saying lately.

Who has been highlighting those dumb things? The left?
No. US. (Us meaning the army of Davids.)

When I read “who cares?”, “who is that?” it represents,to me, an impediment.
Not only are they not doing any useful thing, like tweeting it, or sharing the story on their FB, or e-mailing it, they are dissuading others from doing the same.

The “who is that?” comment signals to others that it’s not worthy to share. So they won’t. And we get inaction as a result.

  7. Abigail,
Here is a post that I put in drafts that was going to publish.
I decided against it going on the front page. I struggle with being too disrespectful and abrasive versus the need to speak my mind in order to feel as if I am doing all I can to affect change.

    I’ll put it here instead.

all caps and in bold for this one –

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PEOPLE, IN 2014, AS A FAVOR, WOULD YOU CONSIDER STOPPING THE “I DO NOT KNOW WHO THAT IS” COMMENTS.

DO YOU THINK THE PLURALITY OF THE LEFT, PRIOR TO THEIR PIG-PILE, KNEW WHO THE HELL PHIL ROBERTSON WAS?

IT DIDN’T MATTER TO THEM. THEY USED THE OPPORTUNITY TO FURTHER THEIR AGENDA.

GIVING THE LEFT A FREE PASS AND ALLOWING THEM TO TROT OUT LEFTIST AFTER LEFTIST TO SIT IN ANY CHAIR, WHETHER IT BE ABC OR ESPN 8, TO SPEW THEIR MESSAGE OF PROGRESSIVISM AND DEGRADATION OF CONSERVATISM IS UNACCEPTABLE. THE THRESHOLD SHOULD NOT BE THEIR Q RATING.

PLEASE GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND STOP WITH THE “IT’S THE SUPERIOR POSITION THAT I AM CLUELESS THAN TO KNOW WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE” SHTICK. IT’S NOT HELPING. IN FACT, IT’S HURTING.

AND IF I AM BEING SO OFFENSIVE WITH THIS RANT THAT YOU DECIDE TO GO TO SOME OTHER WEBSITE, PLEASE CONSIDER NOT DOING THE “WHO’S THAT?” SHTICK WHEREVER ELSE IT IS THAT YOU GO.

I KNOW YOU THINK IT’S BEING INSULTING TO THE PERSON BEING DISCUSSED. HAHA, WE GET IT. IT’S JUST NOT FUNNY ANYMORE. WHAT IT ACTUALLY DOES IS SIGNAL TO OTHER PEOPLE THAT THE PERSON IN THE CROSS HAIRS IS NOT WORTHY OF YOUR TIME AND IT SHOULDN’T BE TO THEM EITHER. IN EFFECT, YOU ARE ERECTING A SHROUD OF PROTECTION AROUND THAT PERSON AND YOU’RE AIDING AND ABETTING THE ENEMY.

  8. I agree about your overall point Fur, But I had no idea who these people where, so I looked up Natasha. She appears to be a 1 star actress/ bar comedian at best and I missed the text under the video that this was on NBC. Without knowing that fact coupled with a low quality video with no station logo, for all I knew this was on a local cable show with 12 viewers. I am guessing this was a national broadcast?

Calling her out on this is absolutely the right thing to do. I still have no idea who any of the people in this vid are, and why is there no NBC logo on the video?

  9. And besides, Menderman, YOU LOOKED UP WHO SHE IS!!

I understand that you’re advocating for others because your a nice guy that way, but, you looked her up.
You were significantly outraged that this woman is obviously on a broadcast on New Year’s Eve, probably Times Square, with some sort of professional equipment involved, saying something that is outrageous to anyone who is elderly, let alone an elderly VETERAN.

  10. It’s Carson Daly, but I am sort of glad I didn’t include that, because if someone wrote WHO IS CARSON DALY?, my head would explode.

Not because they wouldn’t know who Carson Daly is (he’s significant enough that you should know him, but it’s not a crime to not know him, or anyone else for that matter) but because they wrote the comment at all.
I could write an essay before posting the video –

This video is a capture of the New Year’s Eve Gala in Times Square by NBC. NBC stands for the National Broadcast Association. They were founded in….”
Carson Daly was born in 1962 and studied at the Julliard School of …”

“Natasha Cruntlicker is a comedian who writes for”

    And now, the video –

And a commenter would still write- “Why should I give a shit?”

I am asking that that sort of comment please stop. I don’t really ask for much.
I’m not asking anyone to give up smoking.
Is the “who cares?” comment really that hard of a habit to break?

  11. Guess what….I don’t know who Carson Daly is. I’m not kidding about that either.

I feel your pain about the attitude…remember I am the one who advocates everybody get rid of cable so you quit giving your money to these people only to be laughed at about it…but I live better knowing algore never got a dime from me for current TV.

  12. Point taken. I agree with what you’re saying; I’m not sure I’m up to helping much, as I really do revile these people to the extent that I completely quit watching tv twenty-five or so years ago. But I do agree with what you’re saying, and even though I usually won’t know who they are, I’ll at least refrain from saying “who cares” about it. I’m not a “natural born leader” but I’m a very dependable teammate to have on your six. I’ll at least try to stay out of the way of the charge, and pick off any that get around the flanks.

It’s important to me that I adequately convey that I do not think anyone is an idiot for not knowing who someone is. You’re not. You’re lucky, actually. You have a more meaningful life. It’s not my point at all, and I know you get my point, that not knowing who someone is is not insulation from the effects of what they are doing. So a comment like “who cares what they say or think?” is a bit dangerous, especially if you don’t know who they are or what their influence currently is, or what it will be in the future. Had we been able to go back in time and snuff out leftist pop culture icons when they were just pups I think we’d do it. You know, the old “would you kill Hitler as a child if you knew what you know now?” question.
If you don’t know who someone is, please allow us to kill these little Hitlers without comments that make us feel like we’re the stupid ones for caring about someone insignificant to you.
Thank you for allowing me to piggyback your comment-bfh

  13. @Fur – “…DO YOU THINK THE PLURALITY OF THE LEFT, PRIOR TO THEIR PIG-PILE, KNEW WHO THE HELL PHIL ROBERTSON WAS?…”

    SNAP!

You nailed it with this post. Good for you. It doesn’t matter if we don’t know who this bimbo is. And it is very possible that many young impressionable lowfos don’t who she is either.

The fact that she is on a national broadcast platform is all that matters. And as such, you can’t dismiss with a condescending air of “who cares”.

  14. Perhaps if Natasha were forced to sit in a room with massive speakers that suddenly went “BOOM!” at 150 decibels followed by a recording of people screaming in pain or was forced to gulp down some seawater with just a hint of fuel oil in it … she might not be so quick with the snark.

Especially when it was explained to her that what she had just experienced was a smidgeon of what some Pearl Harbor vets suffered.

  15. “Carson Jones Daly (born June 22, 1973)[1] is an American television host, radio personality, and television personality, appearing on several NBC programs. He is a contributor on the network’s morning news show The Today Show, host of the late night talk show Last Call with Carson Daly, and host of the prime time singing competition series The Voice”

  16. Fur-
    Who’s Carson Daly? 🙂

I watched last year’s big-ass New York New Year’s extravaganza for as long as I could tolerate. Turned off the TV when Brad Paisley began sucking up to the NY city-dwellers. Skipped this year’s.

  17. I do suppose it is unrealistic to consider ABC, NBC & CBS as having no effect on my life, even if they have no direct effect. But I hate to be a knee-jerk commenter like so many homos and teenagers.

I post here (and at Biz-Pac) because the other posters are usually intelligent and informed, as well as the leadership.

  18. I knew who Mizz Leggero was years before she pooped all over our veterans with her sick comments last night. I keep track of the current culture and players, major and minor and strategically minded conservatives should too.

There is no honor in not knowing who these rat bastards leftist are – in fact it could be seen as lazy. You don’t need a TV to keep current. Thank God for the internet. In seconds, most of you found out “Nasty” Leggero is a leftist tool.

Know your enemy folks and act accordingly. It means even knowing about minor celebrities.
Leftists already think conservatives are not paying attention. Don’t give them evidence of it.
    If you’re a Christian, you really have no excuse;
    Matthew 10:16, KJV.

  19. You go, Fur!! Keep up this topic in the months ahead. The Left owns social media (no, it’s true). Conservatives have a lot of yardage to make up on that account. If you want hillary clinton for prezzy in 2017 just keep saying to yourself, “what difference does it make, anyway?”

  20. I agree with 99th Squad Leader, I have a 93 y.o. Dad who is a WWII vet, a Korea vet, and a VietNam vet–he has all his teeth and eats very well (thank you very much). I have written to NBC about my outrage because I am and I don’t care who “Natasha” is or isn’t–she had a national stage and she dissed our vets. Add her to Melissa Harris Perry and NBC once again had a very bad week. I don’t watch NBC ever but I do know when these events happen and I react. If you don’t have a TV (and good for you) check out IOTW and Twitchy to be current and VOICE your outrage.

  21. @ Bad Brad- I don’t know. How would I? I don’t watch so they can’t sell me anything I don’t need or want.

I’ll admit to succumbing to those ads over there –>>
from time to time, because iOTW gets the nickel when I do.

  22. I apologize for my comment, Fur. It wasn’t done to rankle you. I get where you’re coming from. My amazement comes from the fact that major networks have sunk to new depths of having these kinds of lightweights host big events.

    I’ll straighten up in 2014.

  23. Cunt, I hope my dad and all his Marine buddies from the Battle of Midway Island rise from their graves and haunt you all the days of your short-sighted, meaningless life.

Aren’t there any openings for stupid female broadcasters in Iraq? Or North Korea, maybe?

  24. C’mon folks. Get with the program.

My 84 year old mother is more in touch than some of you. She only watches FOX, but she is on the internet all day long.

“I don’t watch that channel” is no excuse.

If you’re on iOTW, then you’re on line.

If you’re on line, you should be “in the know”.

  25. Wikipedia is run by Leftists and many of their articles dealing with politically touchy subjects lean left. However, anyone can edit an entry and for a few minutes, make their point. If you copy and paste this link, you’ll see that someone editorialized on Ms. Leggero’s biography. Not incorrectly, I might add. (Look at the right-hand column, highlighted in blue.)

  26. @Phil — I’m c/p’ing the wiki revision (for those of you who didn’t click on his link, above).

“After graduating from high school, she moved to [[New York City]] to study at the [[Stella Adler Conservatory]]. While there, she also attended [[Hunter College]] and received her B.A. in [[theater critic]]ism. She moved to [[Los Angeles]] shortly after graduation. Later she became a deeply unfunny, scumbag whore.”
