Labelling the UK is a piece of cake: It’s all Britainistan
I couldn’t label the U.K. either, BFH, but, unlike a lot of them, I’m not all over the UK websites telling them how they ought to run their country. I’ve encountered so many uppity foreign a-holes who think they know all there is to know about us, based on what they see on youtube, I’ve become immune to it.
Some of those are quite funny, though!
You can’t fool me. That’s Common Core!
They couldn’t even keep track of 13 colonies, much less 57 states.
Lake America! Hahahaha Going to email this to my family – who lives at the bottom of Lake America.
Well, my brother DOES love to fish!
I’m with JannyMae on this. I was married to a Canadian, and it became really tedious and aggravating to endure the visits north of the 49th parallel, during which I was the target of comments and criticism about the US.
I began to visualize them all sitting on south-facing porches, and waiting to see what we would do next, so that they could ridicule our every move.
I used to tell them to be careful, or we would send our Salvation Army to kick their military’s ass.
It was surprising to me to see that I live in the heart of Lake America. here in Indiana. I can put Wales and Scotland and London on their map. Beyond that I would be at a loss.
But I have had an orphan in rural India recite off a better history of the USA than the average school kid in America could about our own country.
More than 50% of Londoners are not native born. I’m amazed it’s in English
Most of those are pretty cute. I like the “NO ONE KNOWS” comments. 🙂
I’ll bet that many Americans couldn’t label the states either.
Looks like they gottem all write, to me. Everything to the left of the big river and to the rite of the big mountains don’t matter no how.
I don’t think the U.K. would be that difficult. Scotland, Wales, England, N. Ireland and The Falklands is about all they have left now.
But they all got Florida correct. Must be thinking of winter vacation.
Oh they know where Florida is believe me.
Wow!
Very edifying.
I didn’t know that the state of Seattle was next to Utah, or that the state of Albuquerque was next to Texas.
But, like KMM said, there are many Americans who couldn’t do any better.
looks like an average US high school test to me
‘A’s for ever participating snowflake of a Purple Penguin!!!
I lived in England for two years in the mid-70’s. They had a love/hate relationship with Americans then, but I’m here to tell you that they loved Texans.
They should get partial credit for lake America. In a way, Illinois is under water.
I sometimes mislabel states in ArcMap just to see if anybody will notice. And they don’t.
You can do that in the Rise of Nations video game too with countries. U.K. = Yuk!
I laughed at the one that made Hawaii our largest state. Some of these were quite funny, but those who are saying American students couldn’t do much better are sadly correct.
