Pepperidge Farm Warns Of Possible Christmas Cookie Shortage This Season

Pepperidge Farm’s parent company Campbell Soup has issued a warning that due to “supply constraints” there may be a shortage of their cookies on store shelves this holiday season.

The issue has to do with labor shortages due to the coronavirus pandemic and the increase in demand for cookies as more people remain in their homes, Campbell’s Chief Executive Officer Mark Clouse said on an earnings call, according to Bloomberg News.
