  1. btw, in case anyone noticed …. yesterday was the 33rd anniversary of President Ronald Reagan’s ‘Mr. Gorbachev, Tear Down This Wall’ speech … June 12, 1987

“We welcome change and openness; for we believe that freedom and security go together, that the advance of human liberty can only strengthen the cause of world peace. There is one sign the Soviets can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace. General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate. Mr. Gorbachev…Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”

  2. Disney will cave in a heartbeat. I know, I used to work at Disneyland, now I’m on furlough from Disney in Burbank.

Interesting enough, I received an email last week from my black VP, who was directed by the black senior VP of diversity, instructing me to attend a conference to listen to 7 black ABC correspondents addressing bias and racism.

I am a white mid-level manager on unemployment being told by 9 black Disney executives, making from $200K to $1 million a year, to check my privilege.

You can’t make this stuff up.

  3. @Aaron Burr:

Al…you live in Florida. That’s…that’s not part of the South.

    1. That depends on where in Florida. How about you try telling someone from Graceville he doesn’t live in the South?

    2. I was born south of the Mason and Dixon Line and have lived most of my life south of the Mason and Dixon Line. My mother was born and raised in Norton, Virginia (Wise County), and my sister was born there.

I think I got credentials even though I’m now living in Southwest Florida, a/k/a God’s Waiting Room, with a bunch of snowbirds who sound like they just stepped off the set of Fargo or even farther north, eh?

Edit: I went and gave your comment an upthumb anyway because you do have a point. (-:

  4. People want and 2,000 sign a petition. WHO CARES! Enough already. If you don’t like something vote with your wallet. This expectation that some loser snowflake jerk off gets outraged and we all have to cater to their feelings is destroying everything in America.

  5. Uncle Remus was portrayed as a wise elder and a good man with birds and song…I remember the scene with him very well and not having moments with a Black person, it left me as a child with a good experience….this is why he has to go I guess. The Left is vicious, vile and a cancer of sub human mendacity. Democrats hate Blacks, and want everyone to hate them.
