What is called the Northwest Angle of Minnesota is so far north that it is surrounded on three sides by Canada and can only be accessed by from The United States by crossing the Lake of the Woods. someone needs to get a petition up to give Canada back to the Ottawas
After the past few elections and all the stuff that happens in Minneapolis, give the whole damn state to Canada.
I feel bad for Canada. Here, they can have Chicago as recompense.
This has cropped up off and on for the last three decades at least.
Not one inch of US soil to any foreign country for any reason.
How about we keep the NW Angle and other areas of MN populated by people who actually want to be Americans and work a trade for part of Alberta in return for the narrow band of coast running from the Seattle to Portland idiotpolises populated by people who loathe America. A win – win!!

On a side note Pt. Roberts in Washington state is also isolated. You have to drive 25 miles through Canada to get to it.
