Pope Francis has called on his flock to embrace communism, insisting that radical communist ideals such as “sharing ownership” are actually “pure Christianity.”
The pope made the calls while recently holding mass at a church of the Holy Spirit in Sassia in the center of Rome.
During his homily, Francis, real name Jorge Mario Bergoglio, told his flock that “sharing ownership is not communism but is pure Christianity.”
However, “shared ownership” is the definition of communism.
Francis was speaking at the celebration where a group of prison inmates was also present as well as some so-called ”refugees” from the Middle East.

It is the role of the Church and her priests to tell us what we are called to do, and should do, because it is morally right. It is not the role of the Church or its ‘Pope’ to tell us what we should allow our governments to force us to do.
When the Catholic Church shares the sacraments with everyone, regardless of each individual’s beliefs, actions, and state of grace, and redistributes its worldly treasures among the poor, and actually listens to the grievances of the faithful, I’ll give a listen to Bergolio’s views on economics and government. But, I’d rather just have my real Pope back.

The Church in Acts “had all things common” and “distributed to every man as he had need.”
Some things to note for students of the Word:
1. There were no Atheists among them. They were all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.
2. There was no compulsion in doing it, it was done willingly.
3. It had nothing to do with Civil Government; the State was not involved.
4. It was undergirded by the Gospel call of love for the brethren and done out of necessity as the early believers experienced persecution – by the State – for their exclusive devotion to Jesus Christ.
Nearly all heretical teachers get fouled-up in the book of Acts and cite verses there to support their peculiar teachings (eg. Baptism, Tongues, Miracles, Replacement Theology, etc.)
It has been said and it is true: Communism is a “Christian Heresy” or “Heretical Christianity.” A biblical truth that is misapplied, or which becomes the singular teaching which everything else is wrapped around, becomes a heresy. What the BELIEVERS did here in the book of Acts was not a prescription for Civil Government.

As a lifelong Catholic, I wasn’t a very good one until later in life. Call me a Cheaster – I went to church on Christmas and Easter.
