Post-election, some states have already started focusing on election integrity

Just The News-

Following the 2024 presidential election, some states are already focusing on implementing election security legislation, such as requiring proof of U.S. citizenship and reducing the time it takes to count ballots.

Republicans in Ohio, North Carolina, and Arizona are all zeroing in on election integrity following this month’s election, and ahead of newly-elected officials taking office next year.

On Election Day, Election Integrity Network Founder Cleta Mitchell posted on X that she was looking forward to the work that the election integrity movement still has to do. “The next chapter of election integrity after this election will be a greater push for changes in state AND federal law to close loopholes and strengthen accountability and transparency,” Mitchell wrote. 1. Very good. No conservatives should be afraid of strong election integrity laws. Only democrats will fear them. I do not ever want to see conservatives try to fix an election. Getting elected through fraudulent means is not winning.

  2. Outlaw mail-in ballots. Something I’ve been trying to get our state to do along with strengthening our voter ID law. If I know someone’s address, full name and date of birth I can online and give a change of address for a new card and get it sent it to me. Three things that takes no time to find out and yet we let voters show either a picture ID or the voter registration card that doesn’t have a photo.
Not to mention I can print one very easy.
