JC Lady has a prayer request-

Prayers for Rylynn, an 8 year-old girl, and family friend, who’s suffered a spinal stroke.

  4. Lord, we know that children hold a special place in your heart. Please send your healing strength to Rylynn, and give her family complete peace and trust in you.

Dear Lord, we come before you today to entreat for your mercy for the young Rylynn, that she might find relief in Your healing touch from this rare and dangerous condition, and that she be restored to experiencing the fullness of life in the ways that only the young such as her can truly, unreservedly delight in. Lord, please guide the minds and hands of her physicians even as you confound them with Your miraculous healing touch before them, as even in their learnedness they can be awed by what could only be Your move in her life, that they may be a testimony to Your glory, and she a testimony to Your mercy.

    And please Lord, help those that you entrusted with her young life, that You charged with seeing her through her formative years, those that thrill to her every victory and are grieved by her every setback, they who guard her and guide her and suffer her illness in their hearts even as she suffers it in her body, strengthen them to be best able to help her, give them a heart to believe in Your healing and a confidence they can share with her that the Lord will see her whole.

    The young are resilient and strong, made so by their Maker, and what may seem hopless to her elders may be no more than a minor setback to her.

    Lord we lift her up to You and commend her to Your care as the Ultimate Physician, the Maker who can repair what a sin-stained world has damaged, that she may grow unfettered and praise Your name and give testimony to the greatness and compassion of her Creator.

    And we ask it all in the healing name of Jesus, amen.

ALMIGHTY God, and merciful Father, to whom alone belong the issues of life and death; Look down from heaven, we humbly beseech thee, with the eyes of mercy, upon the sick child Rylynn for whom our prayers are desired. Deliver her, O Lord, in thy good appointed time, from her bodily pain, and visit her with thy salvation; that if it should be thy good pleasure to prolong her days here on earth, she may live to thee, and be an instrument of thy glory, by serving thee faithfully, and doing good in her generation. Or else receive her, into those heavenly habitations where the souls of those who sleep in the Lord Jesus enjoy perpetual rest and felicity. Grant this, O Lord, for the love of thy Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

  18. 8 year olds deserve to grow up, to go to middle school graduation and everything after that.

    Pray this GROUP will…for Rylynn and everyone that knows this young girl.
