In a move to extend a hand across the aisle, President Donald Trump has invited Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) to meet with him at Mar-a Lago.
Fetterman told CBS News, “That is the plan. Yes, we are going to have a conversation.”
The trip will mark the first known time a sitting Democratic U.S. senator is meeting with Trump at his Palm Beach residence since the election.
“I think that one, he’s the president, or he will be officially,” Fetterman said. “And I think it’s pretty reasonable that if the president would like to have a conversation — or invite someone to have a conversation — to have it. And no one is my gatekeeper.”
Fetterman has shown his willingness to break with his party to support common-sense legislation including being the first Democrat to sponsor the Laken Riley Act and has also shown support for a secure border. more here

Can he teach congress this lesson?

“It’s my job to find common ground and deliver results for everybody.”
“And because nobody is my gatekeeper, I will meet with anyone to secure some wins, including President Trump.”
The DOJ still has 10 days to indict him for something… Anything.
Did Fetterman get a partial brain transplant from a dead Conservative and it has taken this long to regenerate his damaged brain cells to actually give him common sense?
The smartest Democrat in Congress is one of the stroke victims. At least I assume by their actions that many others have also suffered a stroke.
Is anybody besides me tired of his schtick of dressing like a slob tiresome? I’m sure a good tailor could make him some nice suits. DJT knows a few.
