LifeZette:
Lighting of the National Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C, was the occasion for the commander-in-chief’s powerful remarks.
“In 1923, President Calvin Coolidge lit the first National Christmas tree,” Trump said, according to a transcript of his comments reported by LifeSiteNews.
“Later that night, African-American community centers held an outdoor worship service on these grounds, and during that service the Washington Monument was illuminated with a beautiful cross, a powerful reminder of the meaning of Christmas.” MORE

The sad part about it is he had to say it from behind bulletproof glass…
It might be sad that he had to say it behind bulletproof glass, but I’m damn glad the bulletproof glass was there. I can’t help but be just a little concerned about his safety.
By invoking God, Trump has saved the nation for the moment. Who’s next?
for a very non-religious man (at least that’s the way he’s displayed himself in public), PDT instinctively knows that this nation draws it’s strength, & will only work as intended when we acknowledge & beseech the blessings & teachings of the Lord
God bless Donald J. Trump, & God bless the United States of America!
Cheeses is the Greek name, while the Messiah was on earth he was called Yeshua.
His parents spoke Hebrew on Shabbat and Aramaic on other days.Greek was a very difficult language for Hebrew speakers to learn.
I thank God for President Trump.
When Mr. Trump agreed to helm this ship, he knew that despite the media telling you otherwise, this is a center right country, that loves the Lord.
God picked Saul. Boy was he imperfect.
God sent Donald Trump. Boy is he imperfect.
Good, he’s a worker. He loves this country and is trying to right our ship.
I will get in any boat with him and I will row like an damn Argonaut.
@ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ President Trump is a Christian according to Rev. Franklin Graham. Graham has had talks with him and said so but that he’s not versed in the Bible like most Christians. Look at Graham’s twitter page.
extirpates,
The Greeks taught the Hebrew much, did they not?
Jesus taught us all.
Somebody said somewhere that the First Lady was a little fast on the switch.
One should look and listen closer.
Go watch the Tree Lighting Ceremony again.
Watch and Listen.
Do you hear what I hear?
FarmWife — Thank you for pointing that out. I don’t think many people realize that POTUS Trump is a Christian. I think after this episode in his life, he’ll draw closer to God and understand Jesus as his personal savior and friend, and want to know Him a lot better. Ralph Drollinger is the pastor from Capitol ministries who leads their group. He said that Trump isn’t a member but he does get the weekly study notes and communicates directly with him. He also said that Trump is a Christian.
Trump may or may not be a Christian. What is Christian?
He’s a fucking leader, that is what he is.
Thanks to God’s mercy and grace, Donald J. Trump is President of the United States of America. He is much like Cornelius and Cyrus featured in The Holy Bible. Although, initially neither were Christians, God used these mighty men for his purposes because God is not limited by our aspirations and expectations;
Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV)
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
It’s wonderful President Trump is keeping Christ in Christmas.
The President knew going in that this was gonna be the fight of his life. But6 im sure its worse than he thought. He would have to get closer to God for any solace or relief.
God Bless and keep Donald J. Trump
Abortion is the reason Jesus name into the world as a baby.

When he was president did Obama ever have to do this sort of thing with bullet proof glass up or not?
You might be wrong chuffed….oh, wait, my bad, that was a teleprompter…
