Project 2025 – IOTW Report

Project 2025

AP

Led by the long-established Heritage Foundation think tank and fueled by former Trump administration officials, the far-reaching effort is essentially a government-in-waiting for the former president’s second term — or any candidate who aligns with their ideals and can defeat President Joe Biden in 2024.

With a nearly 1,000-page “Project 2025” handbook and an “army” of Americans, the idea is to have the civic infrastructure in place on Day One to commandeer, reshape and do away with what Republicans deride as the “deep state” bureaucracy, in part by firing as many as 50,000 federal workers. More

  1. Heh, the older I get words thrown at me only make my eyes cross. We need action. This sounds like it could be about taking action but then again… we’ve been “told” stuff before.

  2. In other news, I have a couple friends that just got back from Las Vegas. They all have Covid. We haven’t seen a case of Covid around here all summer and as soon as Joe starts flapping his jaws, boom. It’s like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

  3. I think it was Rush that said we should cut the budget of every federal agency 10%. It would be a good start. Of course Congress would never approve it, Trump could tear a page out of Biden’s* playbook and do it by Executive Order.

  4. The only problem is that the democrats have an army of demonic, nihilistic scumbags whom they’re already protecting from prosecution now. They haven’t even started yet on the evil they plan if they don’t get full power in this country. They will steal everything not nailed down. They will sabotage every critical system.

If you want change, you better understand what you’re gonna have to do to the leftist army of scum when they’re in your district. It’s not going to be pretty because these assholes are playing for keeps.

  5. They’d have to concurrently get the Congress to repeal and/or pass new legislation to roll back federal workers’ “untouchable” employment — get rid of the federal employees unionization. The way things are now structured, it’s impossible to do common sense stuff. Remember when Trump’s cabinet guy wanted to use the Corps of Engineers to build the southern wall but couldn’t because of some sort of bureaucratic nonsense? You do what you can though, right?

    Sounds good.

I had it a couple months back. Before summer. I spent one day in bed. Was back in the gym on day 3. My friend that dropped by the shop says hes on day 4. About 90% energy back. Yea, a bad cold. But I just read they’re already demanding face masks in some parts of the country. Didn’t they already admit face masks were ineffectual?

  7. “Yes, and zero energy.”

I had the zero energy thing one day last week. Absolutely felt like I was walking through mud. Just felt horrible but no other symptom so I figured it was just an arthritis flare-up. Mainly because the weather here has been swinging all over the place.

Covid never even crossed my mind. 🙄

  8. BevWKy, that reminds me of how many people were running to get those covid tests because they felt tired, had a headache, stuffy nose or their friend had covid or their adult child had covid. They were also the Karen’s who were running around screaming we maskless folks were killing them.
