JD’s mom has had a serious stroke and he’s been running ragged, doing it all, splitting time between his mom and his own household.

We’re sending prayers to give him strength and to put his mother on the mend.

  1. Dearest JDHasty, may God bless you with strength, courage, endurance and patience. Laugh when you can, cry when it gets too much, and love your mom and family. I sent God a request to wrap his loving arms around you and will add you to my prayer list.

  25. So sorry to hear this, JD Hasty. Please know that your struggles are known to us, you have our sympathy, and we will do what we can to uplift you in prayers to the Healer, who can do all things and who will bless you in this trial.

    May the Lord guard and guide her, help her and heal her, walk around her bed to bless her with His touch, and talk to her in her hour of need to draw her ever closer to His side.

    May the Lord also guard and guide you, JD Hasty, calm you and comfort you, strengthen you to the day, and cover you in the Blood to keep the devil away, and may He give you the blessed assurance that whatever happens she will be held in His arms, now and for all eternity.

  29. Explains the absence in the previous thread.

    As many here have been there, may the acceptance of the struggle and the outcomes be there for you. Recovering from a another replacement in my own body last week ( Morphine, Norco and muscle relaxers – what fun it is) so know the IMPORTANCE of having the help to get through it and back to the curmudgeon that I am. Even if the thank you’s don’t come, continue to do what you’re supposed to do…
