When I was in high school in the early ’80s we had a former drug addict come in to health class to warn us of the evils of drug use. He told a story about working (community service) in an emergency room one night when a car came rolling up to the entrance, the door opened and someone was rolled out as the car sped off. The ejectee came through the doors of the emergency room with his hands over his eyes and blood running between his fingers exclaiming “They told me it would be great!”. It seems that his “friends” had talked him into injecting whiskey into his tear ducts using a syringe. At this point, 16 year old BAMO laughed out loud and was promptly sent to the principal’s office.
The moral of the story is that this guy really thought that this was a good idea at the time same as the guy in the emergency room story.

If you were black and picking cotton in 2019 it would be by choice asshole. And you’d be getting paid unless you are dumb enough to pick cotton for free.
