  1. You can’t expect the mayor to have to put up with the people in her community can you? She deserves a quiet home to come to after a hard day of ruining lives and neighborhoods.

  2. She should be required to live downtown with the thugs. To be more in touch with her brothers and sisters of color.
    “Lightfoot enjoys police protection 24-7”
They should have a case of the blue flu, or are they the start of her private militia, mercenaries, paid by the city?

  3. the ACLU was less certain
“The Supreme Court has found that the government can prohibit protests at a single home in a residential area, but that does not necessarily extend to the entire block,” ACLU spokesman Ed Yohnka said in a statement. “The right to free speech and peaceable assembly includes the right to choose one’s audience, and government actions that limit that right for the sake of residential privacy must be narrowly tailored to protect that interest.”

Oh yeah? DHS Acting Director Chad Wolf unavailable for comment. Regretfully HE HAD TO RELOCATE HIS FAMILY FOR PROTECTIVE SECURITY MEASURES.

  4. What I would like to see is all these progressive mayors suiting up with the police (anonymously) and attending some of these “peaceful protests” to get pelted with rocks, frozen water bottles, fireworks, and lasers.

  5. Outrageous, not surprising. But still unacceptable.

It’s the common self-identified VIP’s usual – “Security protection for me, but not for thee”. You’re just the little NIPs (not important people) – Attitude.
