The playbook for the PBS/NPR lobby in the defunding fight has been to send liberal journalists to talk with station managers in small communities in red states, as if that somehow represents the Eastern leftist elites that make the programming on “public” broadcasting. Politico’s “West Wing Playbook” column talked to Don Dunlap, a station manager in Corpus Christi, Texas. 1. Worthless, federal tit-sucking parasites.
All they really know how to do is beg!
I’ll bet you can even get an MBA in Begging at the right, Liberal school!

  2. PBS is also kissing up to conservatives in blue states, too. They’re desperate. Nationwide PBS is currently airing a relatively right leaning AMC show, TURN.

It’s based on a book by Alexander Ross and is fiction about US Revolutionary spies during the war. Adult subject matter, sex scenes and gritty sometimes but has a positive patriotic theme. It’s very well done with lots of action. Great acting and production overall. Check local listings.

  3. If PBS wants to be liberal, they should do it without tax dollars. Go leftist, just put out a product that the public wants and you’ll be fine.

Nobody will listen. Every time it’s been tried here in Phoenix the lefty radio station has folded within the year. PBS knows they can’t survive without a subsidy. Lefties want you to pay for their stuff (via taxes) so they don’t have to.

  4. Yeah, good link Benito. Funny how none of them said a peep when Supreme Court Justices were threatened. And they were acting according to their defined responsibilities. The leftists judges are like entry level law clerks telling the senior partners of a law firm what to do.

  5. I might consider, repeat: consider, donating to “public” broadcasting if we fired everybody but vetted engineers and turned over all the facilities to Prager U. and The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE).

  6. We just lost another one of the greatest satirists ever today with Tom Lehrer’s death at the age of 97. RIP Tom, I loved your biting satire and extremely witty satirical songs over the years when I was younger. There will never be another one like him. Who can ever forget poisoning pigeons in the park and his other great satirical songs.
