Quite Unbelievable – No, Not The 1 Mile Sniper Shot That Killed an ISIS Commander – The Fact That Newsweek Reported It Like It Was a Good Thing!

I’ve been noticing that The Atlantic has been publishing a lot of pro-rightwing articles the last month or so. Now comes a Newsweek article that isn’t sneering at the celebration that a British sniper has blown the chest out of an ISIS commander from a mile away.

Maybe because it was a British sniper?

Or are these lefty sites figuring out that most people are only glad to see ISIS killed in spectacular fashion?

The feat was pulled off with a 40 year-old .50 caliber Browning.

SNIPER SHOOTS ISIS FIGHTER DEAD FROM OVER ONE MILE AWAY WITH 40-YEAR-OLD GUN

Newsweek-

“It took several seconds for the round to hit the commander who appeared to fly into several pieces. For a few seconds no-one moved. When they realised what had happened they got up and ran away,” the source explained.

According to sources familiar with the operation, the sergeant had to take into account the wind speed and the heat of the day, as well as intense light. The view of the target was described as “quite watery” through the gun’s scope, due to the heat coming off the ground.

“The .50 Cal has got a phenomenal range and is very accurate even though it is almost 40 years old,” the source said. “It can be fired on single shot. The sniper fitted a special sight to the machine gun and got a spotter to estimate the wind speed.”

  1. These British marksmen/snipers are terrific !! I wonder what they think about all the gutless and politically correct MPs, and all the Muslim mayors back in the UK who are undermining their stellar work ??

  2. Not sure what they mean by “almost 40 years old;” do they mean the specific rifle used? I don’t see it specified. If they mean the cartridge, the .50BMG is quite a bit older than that.

Or are they saying a scope was fitted to a Ma Deuce? It’s been around a lot longer too.

And what the hell’s wrong with being almost 40 years old? I only wish!

  3. Newsweek will follow this article with an editorial about how we have to ban .50 caliber “sniper rifles” that no one can use for hunting.

Remember: “A leopard never changes his stripes” or something like that.

  4. Newsweek? Wasn’t that a magazine once? Just another dodge to try and con people who are much smarter than Newsweek thinks they are.
Sorry slime bags it won’t work.

  5. There have been a lot of advancements made to the .50BMG round over the last twenty years or so, and I’m talking some awesome shit like shooting though a brick wall then exploding on the back side.

Etwas not a rifle – it was a machine gun!~

I BTW have more than once been on the receiving end of ChiCOm 50 cals. Guy charging net to me took a round in the head. Looked over at a headless body falling. Lots of blue grey jello on the deck..(what had been his brain!). Had I had anything to eat that lat 2 days it would have bee on the deck. Had “dry heaves” as I want to send his killer to “meet his maker!”!

Well, a Canadian soldier bagged the record for longest sniper kill a couple years ago. There are still men in the UK and Canada able and willing to kill terrorists. God bless ’em.
