How many years have we heard democRATz screaming about how Republicans will take your Social Security away… like they really give shit anyway!
Gov’t employees should be taxed (withheld) at twice the rate of anyone else.
Because do many double dip.
“Entitlement,” my ass.
Frank Bisignano should also consider his ass as a hat!
Why is there so much talk about Social Security going broke, but nobody ever talks about welfare going broke?
Socialist Security is a TAX.
Always was; always will be.
It can’t “go broke” because there’s nothing there.
Never was; never will be.
mortem tyrannis
izlamo delenda est …
Never forget;
A. Joe Biden had SS put in the general fund.
B. COLA never comes close to keeping up with government created inflation.
C. Clinton had food and gas removed from the data.
Tony – because Social Security is treated as a fiduciary responsibility by law whereas Welfare is just free assistance (shit) that has no collections attached to it. Congress can say “it’s done” any time they want.
I also think Tim is correct. Social Security’s promise to pay is not actually connected to the status of a “fund” that exists only in theory. And by the way, moving it to the General Fund happened in the 60’s.
