Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), fresh off of his bout with coronavirus, told Fox News Channel on Monday he had what he deemed to be an “extraordinarily mild case.”
According to Paul, who is now serving as a volunteer at his local hospital, he did not show the symptoms others had because of the virus.
“Well, you know, in my case, I had an extraordinarily mild case,” he said. “I had no symptoms. Never had a headache. Never had a body ache. Never had a fever. Never had a cough. I didn’t really have any symptoms. In fact, I would have never gone to the hospital had I not — or not to the hospital, I would not have even gone to the doctor’s office had I not known this was about and that I had been traveling so much.”
“So it’s a bizarre sort of situation that some people get very, very sick, you know, even die from this, and some people get no symptoms,” Paul continued. “They’ve tested people in Iceland where they’ve tested, you know, a large body of the population of Iceland and they found that about 50 percent of the people were positive have no symptoms. And so there’s something about this illness that’s not just the illness, but your immune response to it. And it may be some sort of genetic thing that some people are genetically predisposed to an overwhelming immune response that ends up making the patient very sick with their lungs filling up with fluid and then other people, like myself, get virtually no symptoms.” WATCH
I am happy to hear that, he is well now. Am I evil, when I hope all liberals who get the china flu, experience all the pain associated with it?

Anon @ 4:11 – quite likely the case – many of the fatalities have had underlying – many VERY severe – conditions but C19 gets the blame.
Likely proof many have been exposed and have antibodies and all this shutdown shit is just manufactured to redesign America and turn us into a socialist shit hole.

Or it targets a narrow set of genetic markers. NPR has been telling me for days that black people are dis-proportionally affected. Or their votes are being suppressed. Can’t remember which.

The website and author lean towards the theory that Bill Gates and Fauci are in cahoots, but I tried to look past that because he was actually providing some info that can be helpful if it is true. He seemed to know what he was talking about, anyway.
All to say, and in response to Rand Paul’s Covid19 experience, there seem to be many reasons why one person is asymptomatic and others die, including the persons nutritional state. Sardi’s article was pretty fascinating about that aspect.
Lowell – NPR is peddling bullshit again. Stats for Ohio (updated today at cleveland.com) shows that of the 6,478 cases of Kung Flu in Ohio, 64.8% are white, 24.7% are black, and the rest are “other” or mixed race. Also – 49.9% of the fatalities are aged 80 and above, 23.8% are 70 and above. Only 2 deaths were ages in their 30’s, and none younger than that. Those stats may be different in other areas (i.e. NYC, LA, Chi-town) but overall, NPR is out to lunch on this.
My wife and I have gone through the entire flu season with absolutely no symptoms of cold, flu or COVID-19 at all. Good possibility we had very mild forms of any of those diseases and I’m willing to believe that, based on all the numbers I’ve seen out there, a large portion of the country has also gone through the same thing. We need to get those antibody tests going pronto and put an end to these shutdowns and destruction of our nation’s economy. This is absolute STUPIDITY!!!
I had all the symptoms back in early February couldn’t get a test. Tried to request a test.. No No No.. Self quarantined 3 weeks using my sick time.. I work for an airlines and worked Beijing and Shanghais daily! Well over 100 baggage handlers have Covid 19 and a few have died…and ton’s of pilots and flight attendants have it too.. They still haven’t issued any kind of PPE..
