  1. @Anymouse,
    WOW.
I know a guy today time that looks just like the guy on the left in the first picture.
    But more wow,
I knew a guy that looked just like the guy on the right in the second picture. I mean exactly, from my memory. He was a navy vet, loved to fish and also was into photography.
Is that a Pontiac in the driveway? 1972 or 1973?
    Double Wow.
Do you recall if the pic was taken in Alabama or right around there? There probably would have been a peanut farm close by.
    Thanks for showing us.
Thanks to all the critters and our Claudia.
Hey Claudia, have you ever had a monkey in the gallery?
If not, there was a group of them playing in the park yesterday on Saturday. A bunch of howler monkees in the park. Made a racket, sounded like the fourth of July. Imagine the noise a bunch of howler monkeys banging spoons on ice cream bowls would sound like.
    Buncha chimpanzees.
    Sounded pretty good though.

NOVA Almost fifty years ago when I still had piss and vinegar running through my veins.
Currently trying to work up the energy to mow the lawns.

  3. Good morning Lady C, thanks for the sanity break.

The family above and their kin like to hang out in the turns of my very curvy, very narrow, 40 Mph downhill country road. Not great parenting, and makes my 0430 drive to work exciting on occasion. I actually DID hit a fawn last week as it ran out of the darkness, but as I am generally paying attention I was able to brake so it was just a touch, doing no damage to my car and the fawn ran on.

Ive seen plenty of times they werent so lucky, tho.

…but the weirdest deer experience I ever had was shortly after I moved there and was still driving a Toyota, which apparently a doe disapproved of.

I didnt hit HER. She RAN AFTER and hit ME in the left quarter panel, hard enough to make a dent.

I never knew why, but I sold that and never been attacked in any non-Toyota vehicle since.

    …maybe her mother was murdered by a Toyota,who knows…

  4. @Anymouse
    NOVA the car. Yea.
If NOVA Northern VA. Yea, too.
BTW, the guy on the left in the second one. . .
He has a GI Joe hand cramp from holding it up.
    Am I right?
    Thanks Again.

  5. Have a SNS length story on using trot lines that cost one guy his eight fingers. Maybe another time… Wanted to check back for comments and then heading upstairs to crash.

Hurting from spending all day do the gutters and lawns.

  6. @Anymouse,
    All 8?
    DANG!

BTW, I had a GI Joe. He lost an arm from the elbow down after a bad landing doing free-fall practice. It was OT’s fault, not mine.

Sounds like you got the Kung Fu grip blues after all that.
Try some Ice Cream in a cold bowl in your hand. It will cool the cramping.
