Great photo SNS!
I tried all summer to get a photo of either of my pair of cardinals and both would fly away at the mere possibility of a camera being brought out!
If I know my Boxers, Thor is a big sissy.
Love those dogs.
Happy day everyone.
Nice pics everyone. Thanks for starting the day off right Claudia.
Thanks, Pete, but I claim no credit, the wife picked us a house with a screened-in porch and put a feeder just far enough from the screen so they don’t feel threatened, and has an “in” with He Who Makes Cardinals that He sends them to her as “worry birds” so she knows He’s got this and they take her worries away. I was just a lazy dork on the porch with my phone when he happened by.
We have 3 nesting pairs I think, and weirdly the males don’t fight even at the feeder together. Lady C, who I am grateful to for cleaning up my poor photography, has a pic of a male feeding a female on that feeder too, but the screen sometimes messes the focus and it may be too bad for even her skills to save, but they look like they’re “kissing” and they did that quite a bit.
We have woodpeckers too, but I couldn’t get them as clear as NAAC did, that’s a good one. They started to make me mad too when they started peckering on the wood porch.
Thanks Claudia for a break in the madness. Always appreciated.
God bless,
SNS
And that dragonfly is amazing, Bobcat. Never could take insect pics myself. Congratulations on a job well done!
My week isn’t complete until I enjoy your photo array, Claudia. Thank you! This morning’s collection is great!
Again, a fine way to start the week!
Thanks, Claudia!
I took that with My 400 Mil Lens…I also got a pic of a Hummingbird Moth..Which
took Me about 8 Months to get a clear Pic…Now that I got it…There are a
million of Them hanging out everyday..Not sure if I sent that one to Claudia.
Jamie waits for my return home from work every night. It’s great to be missed and even better to be a dog’s best human friend.
Evenin’ everyone.
What a SET of pics. WOW.
National Geographic eat your hearts out!
Old Guy – Oh my, what a kitty she was!
Thanks C! Say hi to Sammy for us ;>)
