Breitbart: With week two of May 2018 now in the books, we find that CNN’s ratings have collapsed even more than last week, close to -30 percent in total viewers and an astonishing -35 percent in demo viewers.
Before we get to the numbers, I should add that CNN is an outlier; meaning its stunning ratings collapse is unique in cable news.
Compared to this same week last year, Fox News increased its total viewers in primetime and total day by +6 and +3 percent, respectively. While MSNBC did see a ratings drop, it was able to keep that drop in the single digits: -9 percent in total day and in primetime.
CNN’s viewership drop, however, is jaw-dropping, especially when you recall just how big the news was last week.
While no one in the media want to talk about it, CNN’s relentless fake news sprees have not only created a massive credibility problem for the hate network, the far-left cable channel’s ratings crisis is even more severe.
CNN lies. Numbers do not…

Realizing the “importance” of May ratings (?) surely this must mean that CNN will close up, go out of business, die etc. Poor Wolf.

How many instances of reporting falsehoods,
misrepresenting a story through omissions, or
blatantly ignoring to covers news unfavorable to their politics,
does it take for them to be fined or shut down by the FCC ???
And who funds them, since their ratings demonstrate they are obviously not a viable business?
Fear not, CNN. If you should ever succumb to market forces and karma, Sarah Sanders will keep a CNN memorial seat in the back of the press room.
Any advertiser would be far better off putting up bill-boards in major cities. Way cheaper and would be seen by far greater numbers of people.

I think ninety percent of there ratings are waiting rooms and airports. The last ten percent are people watching just see what nonsense they’ll pass off as news,

Actually, that may make them a very viable business. If they can keep down expenses.
Who’d pay, actual money, for a list of people that sent their money to a “Nigerian Prince”? It may not be a large number of “businesses”. But the market is clearly there.
It would be awesome to see FOX news broadcast at all the major airports. I don’t think brain-dead libs can handle the truth though.
In 2013, Congress repealed a law that made it illegal for US intelligence agencies to feed propaganda to US news outlets. CNN is clearly a primary mouthpiece for CIA Deep State propaganda. I’m sure the CIA will soon, if they are not already, be paying to keep CNN on the air.

What has “professional integrity” to do with cable or network “news?”
If it’s on the shit-box, or downloadable to your phone, it’s entertainment – PERIOD! The purpose of entertainment, is, primarily, to entertain, and secondarily, propaganda – or maybe I have that backwards … at any rate, they no longer even pretend to have any integrity! Especially since integrity poses a restraint on the propagandistic arts.
