Reality versus an “Idea”

PR: I’m sure you’ve heard by now that the first quarter GDP numbers are out and they are, well, fabulous.

The news is so terrific, MSNBC was forced to report reality for a change.

@RNCResearch

MSNBC discussion lauds “beautiful,” “strong,” “extraordinary,” “incredible” 1st quarter GDP growth https://youtu.be/CiO-ocZ0UPM

Even CNN had to choke back their endless bludgeoning of impeachment and “Orange Man Bad” to acknowledge this real world success.

@RNCResearch

CNN reports “really big” GDP number, “solid growth for the first quarter”https://youtu.be/sijxjmvllxQ

There’s no denying the Trump economy is on fire.

When the cable news outlets that can’t stop flogging the dead horse of “collusion” and “obstruction” have to put aside their fantasy impeachment hopes to report the reality of America’s economic boom, you know the Trump economy is on fire.

  1. Time for Trump to focus on raising wages by deporting all illegals, building the wall, and ending ALL LEGAL IMMIGRATION, making e-verify mandatory for businesses, and an executive order ending birthright citizenship…. like he’s promised.

  2. “Those jobs are going away, and they’re not coming back.”

    – President Barack “The Total Fucking Asshole” Obama

    The 3.2% GDP growth is the natural consequence of an Executive branch not filled with corrupt fucking assholes deliberately regulating the economy to put some democrat bureaucrat’s hand in literally every business transaction in the country. It can never be overstated what selfish, greedy assholes democrats are in their pursuit of other people’s earnings.

  3. I think you will see more of this. Trump banging on fake news is causing damage, and they can start acknowledging the successes or continue looking like morons touting the far left bullshit.

    Perhaps I’m giving them too much credit.

  4. Onginer,yep, been saying the same things for over a year now. America can only remain a great nation as long as we stay a nation and a nation without borders is no nation at all.

    This great economy is only one side of the coin, the other is the national debt, which nobody wants to talk about. Prosperity means little if your debts exceed your assets and unmanageable debt will only weaken the dollar, our credit, and our ability to cover other outlays because of rising debt interest.

  5. Reality vs. Idea…

    “I have only one firm belief about the American political system, and that is this: God is a Republican and Santa Claus is a Democrat.

    God is an elderly or, at any rate, middle aged male, a stern fellow, patriarchal rather than paternal and a great believer in rules and regulations. He holds men accountable for their actions. He has little apparent concern for the material well being of the disadvantaged. He is politically connected, socially powerful and holds the mortgage on literally everything in the world. God is difficult. God is unsentimental. It is very hard to get into God’s heavenly country club.

    Santa Claus is another matter. He’s cute. He’s nonthreatening. He’s always cheerful. And he loves animals. He may know who’s been naughty and who’s been nice, but he never does anything about it. He gives everyone everything they want without the thought of quid pro quo. He works hard for charities, and he’s famously generous to the poor. Santa Claus is preferable to God in every way but one: There is no such thing as Santa Claus.”

  6. they may have to go back to reporting on that malaysian airliner again

    When i read PJ Orourks books in the 80s I was stunned. In awe. He has brilliant wit and sarcasm. I remember LOL-ing about this Santa line. He had another story about a piss-pot. It was a hilarious back and forth with a lebanese and how he couldnt pronounce passport..

  7. When Trump first announced his run for the white house I had some doubts about his seriousness, being the ultimate showman there was a small wisp of concern that he would use the office to feed his larger than life ego.
    As it turns out Trump came along just as this country was in it’s death throws and pulled us back from the brink.
    The more I listen to what he says and watch what he does I have become more and more amazed by this incredible guy.
    In my opinion he far surpasses RR or any other political figure in memory. He truly loves this country and it’s people and has far exceeded anything we could have hoped for. He is truly an amazing man and a gift to our republic.
