A 69-year-old retiree visited 120 pubs to order drinks in 24 hours, breaking a Guinness World Record.

David Clarkson, who was born in Britain but has lived in Australia for over 40 years, started his attempt with a drink at the Captain Cook Hotel in Sydney.

Clarkson walked to 119 more establishments over the course of the following 24 hours, ordering a drink at each stop. More

  2. The trick is to accompany the person trying to set the record. Just don’t over due it yourself as you help the challenger out with finishing all those drinks.

    A pub crawl around Egg Harbor and Door County in general would be quite enjoyable in the summer. La Crosse, WI used to be on the list. 3rd Street had a bunch of bars when I was in college and you could do a brewery tour for a free beer to boot (G. Heileman “Old Style”).

  3. I did a barracks crawl!
    Travelled through 97 barracks in 24 hours and got fucked in the ass by strangers in every one!
    Didn’t make it into the record book, though.
