Regated- Donald Trump lately has sought to increase his outreach to minority communities. During such outreach, Trump has, in his typical manner, brashly and bluntly described the levels of violence in some communities of color. At a recent rally in Tampa, Florida, Trump said:
“And I say to the African-American parent: You have a right to walk down the street of your city without having your child or yourself shot, and that’s what’s happening right now. That’s what’s happening. To the Hispanic parent, you have a right to walk outside without being shot. You have a right to good education for your child. You have a right to own your home. You have a right to have a good job.”
Predictably, left-of-center media outlets reflexively attacked Trump. Slate wrote Trump’s comments amounted to a “dog whistle for racists,” and was “a White Supremacist Fantasy.” The New York Times published a story saying that Trump’s comments were “offending” to those living in Black America. And, of course, NBC and its sister network MSNBC have largely been critical of Trump’s comments.
So, from NBC’s perspective, it would not look good for their pundits and opinionators to be contradicted by reports from the ground that describe the real life, material conditions as a “genocide.”
!snip!
NBC broadcasted a segment which pretty much summed up what Trump was saying, and being mocked for by the left.
NBC must’ve blown a fuse when they saw black leftist pundits vindicating the “hated and racist” Donald. They completely scrubbed it from their online archive.
Fortunately Regated found it and preserved it for posterity, a liberal shaming.
They are TERRIFIED that The Donald would be so bold like that.
Keep your hedge of spiritual protection around him Lord. Hillary has none so some leftist loon will have an easy, wide open opportunity.
He asked them directly for their vote. Who has been so bold on the right?
I see Mr Punchable Face, Eric Dyson chiming in with more platitudes. If you wanted this shit to stop, it would. If you wanted the killings of innocents to stop, it would but REgressives need this. Let the police do their job without the constant looking over their shoulder-clear out the vermin block by block-build more prisons and make it clear that’s where a thug life will lead you.
Too bad, but that’s not gonna happen-the left has a vested interest in this violence. They need it to play off blacks against whites. Doesn’t matter that most of the crime/murders, by far, are black on black.
Maybe, and this is a huge maybe, if Trump can get upwards of 20% of the black vote, not only would that be a landslide victory but it would put the onus on him to actually do something. He’s been talking about law & order, a clear cut win would give him some leeway to ignore PC.
If he gets the usual 3-5% of the black vote that Rs usually get, and I suspect that will be the case, then what’s the point of more outreach? Blacks have been on the receiving end of literally trillions of dollars in welfare-have been beneficiaries of 40 years of affirmative action-have had 100s of billions poured into inner city schools. Yet they talk of give me more more more. Reparations? Still viable.
There is a fundamental difference in our races. 100s of years of this experiment should prove that. Why do Vietnamese come here after the war, hunker down, take advantage of the opportunities, become successful and all without affirmative action or generation to generation welfare. In fact, when they apply to colleges, their test scores are graded on a downward scale!!
Good luck Mr Trump-I know he wants the best for all of us but getting shit handed to you has never worked.
MM, You speak volumes of truth.
I just heard on the news this morning that an illegal crashed a tour bus in Louisiana, killing two Americans.
Nothing to see, move along…
“…then what’s the point of more outreach?”
You make their lives better, illustrate it in undeniable terms, and they start voting R.
At 19, I voted Carter. Carter was horrible and anti-American. It was plain to see. Then I voted Libertarian. What a waste.
Then I watched Reagan do his thing and voted conservative ever since. Yes, I found out I was conservative the hard way.
Haven’t looked back to re-consider since. Right is right. The rest is B.S..
Dad, say Trump goes into inner cities and makes his pitch, repeatedly. Points out every time how the dems for the last 50-60 sometimes 100 years have been in charge of their communities. How The Great Society destroyed the black family which at the time actually had a lower rate of illegitimacy then whites.
Say he explains, over and over how school choice will enable anyone that wants a better education for their children can get them out of the nightmare of public schools. And even how public schools will have to get better to compete.
Further he explains his energy and tax plans which will explode the private sector and create millions of jobs for everyone.
He’s shown them what loyalty to the dems has gotten-he explains how he can make their lives better with the prospect of work, safer neighborhoods and better education for their children. And say he still gets 3-5% of the black vote.
And you say make their lives better and then they’ll get the message. I have to differ. RR’s policies created millions upon millions of jobs for everyone. Astoundingly RR got 14% of the black vote in 80. He made the point to try and be inclusive to blacks. Yet after 4 years of spectacular growth for everyone, in 1984 he got 3% of the black vote.
And since 84, racial tension is much higher especially the past 8 years. I say no way, no how, no matter what Trump says or actually accomplishes, the lines are drawn.
That is called race realism. I’d like to be wrong but I’d have to have my eyes closed to the last 3 or 400 years of history.
MM – Trump better not go to a ‘black’ church and try that. BLM is nothing compared to the IRS.
