  1. The president, “The end of the republic has never looked better.” Oh, yea, that’s so funny, what a pompous ass. And the press plays on while the country dies.

  2. I love when leftist “comedians” are inflicted on a room full of elitist.

The mixture of the unfunny in front of an audience of the humorless truly is a gift to savored by us all.

  3. Thank God this the last year of the Chicago Shizzle. Otherwise, at next year’s event someone is gonna pop a cap in yo ass. I expect it will be Don “Black Hole” Lemon

  4. Americans think they’re so clever and that they rule the world and still insist on demonstrating how ill-educated and, frankly, stupid, they can be.

These comments — and elsewhere on this site — are utterly contemptible. And, I assume, the authors, too, must also be. But sadly show the complete ignorance of a large swath of the citizens of this country.

After I post this, I will take a long hot shower to try and purge myself of the foul stench of having been here.

  5. Light Bulb was so proud last night when Wilmore evoked his memory by calling Trump’s johnson, “President – Johnson.” Someone even shouted out “LBJ!” to the glee of #36.

However, President Jackson argued that he would never use the term “Jigaboo” and took umbrage with being misquoted.

  6. The Correspondents Dinner used to be a smaller affair that was kept pretty secret to the outside (it mostly leaked out anyway) that wasn’t politicised and while have, at times, had some pretty low humour in it was all it good fun. Not anymore. For the last twenty years or so it’s degenerated into this sort of crap where everyone tries to outdo the rest in low, gutter humour that isn’t particularly funny, just hurtful.

  7. @scr_north

You obviously haven’t attended any of the Roasts that we hold down here. The Washington Hilton was tame in comparison. I’ll save you a seat.
    👿

  8. Unfortunately, I watched the entire video.

First observation — I cannot stand a comedian who laughs at their own jokes (except Red Skelton).

Second observation — what a racist diatribe this was.

Third observation — anyone who’s been relaxing curls for this many years has to be feeling the burn. Only comment that made my mouth curl up a bit.
