Remembering the Chowchilla Kidnapping Case

Twenty-six school children were abducted by three men and buried alive in a trailer. It was one of the kids who had the plan on how to get out alive.

Screw the CNN documentary.

  1. I remember when this happened. Everyone was one edge here, it was the lead story for weeks. In August 2022, after 46 years, the last of three men convicted of kidnapping 26 children and their bus driver was paroled from a prison in California. It was one of the largest kidnappings in U.S. history.Mar 18, 2023

So, they’re all out in the public now. 46 years of their life wasted.

  2. There is evil out there that is NOT NEW to the world.

Nothing that can sometimes be done and all the awareness, training and soundness of mind can prevent it from you being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Consider the invasion we currently have occurring.

    Prepare, yes. But

Best have faith in something to protect or carry you through. Pick that faith or belief to give you the strength for yourself and those around you. Physical strength isn’t enough for all conditions.

    Thus ends Anymouse’s Sunday service.

I too remember; as I live in the West! This case supports my argument that an unenforced death penalty is no deterent! Their “lefe sentences’ were a joke; as most “life sentences” are!
Bad guys me not bes mart ( many in fact are very smart) but even a dummy knows the Cal death penalty was a “Compassionate conservative” joke!

Woods”s life sentence was a joke; as he knew it would be. So he was not deterred! I know no what happened to him; BUT I DO KNOW HE WAS LET OUT!

I’m. sure being born into “the better class” did not hurt!

  4. They did get life without possibility of parole. But the DA overcharged. They didn’t need to include “great bodily harm” in order to get life without parole.

But lawyers convinced a jury that there was no great bodily harm and they had sentence reduced to life with possible parole.

The mind is part of the body. And there was great harm done. Jurors can be assholes.
