  1. While I agree with Sundance at TCTH on most white hat v black hat shenanigans, he misses the bigger point on this one. He surmised this is black hat leaking to force Sessions into a corner, whereby creating friction between him and Trump and the media frenzy this will create.

Back up. Why must Sessions be “forced” into a decision? This should’ve come directly from Wray/Sessions months ago. Thus far, I see no examples of corrupt DOJ/FBI officials being held accountable.

  2. Mr. MaGoo won’t pull the trigger. If he and others are too afraid of pushback from the left he shouldn’t have taken the job. They have no reservations about doing so, give it right back and quit being a pansy.

  3. “That would insulate him from the Inspector General.”

    Exactly right, Tim…

“Chris Wray is an expert in prosecuting ‘white collar’ crime. He is a ‘Machiavelli Tracker‘, a pro wolf hunter. A very smart man. Hence, his nomination and his role…Director Chris Wray knows the key to capturing the fish is to keep them within the distance of the casting net. Keeping the “small group” participants within government, yet under full control, is a part of the strategy…”

  4. As much as I’d like to believe that there’s some slick prosecutorial reason for allowing a piece of shit like McCabe to get his pension, my money is still on the general incompetence and fecklessness of a DC swamp creature like Sessions “forcing” him to let every fucking guilty party who worked to help democrats walk away from all this scott motherfucking free. That is what the worthless shitbag GOP has been doing for decades in DC.

  5. Insulate him from the IG? You’re aware the IG has no prosecutorial power? If the IG doesn’t have enough evidence against him by now (there’s certainly enough in the press), he’s doing a piss poor job (and I don’t believe that’s the case). He’s on record with the House investigators.

So what if he takes the 5th? We see how govt employees are punished for perjury (Comey, Clapper, Lerner, Brennan, Holder, Hillary). At least he won’t walk with more of my tax dollars.

Please cite the statute which states, once federal employees accused of a crime leave govt employment, they cannot be prosecuted as a regular citizen.

  6. Swap creatures never pay for their lawlessness. They look out for each other and McCabe will be no different. The laws are for the little people. I look for Mr. MaGoo to keep his head fully implanted in his ass.

  7. And this kind of crap is why conservatives will be less likely to bother turning up at the polls. An absolute lack of punishment of swamp creatures is very disheartening. The argument that it’s important to vote in more conservatives is going to fall on deaf ears since all of the RINOs talk a good conservative game but actually do little.

Oh, I’ll vote. But it continues to feel very much like a wasted effort.
