  9. The German part of my family legally emigrated to America prior to WWI, when Democrats stoked anti-German hatred so high that my GG grandpa had to change the spelling of the family NAME to something less obviously German to keep his children from being beaten.

    Now, they dont even have the bad logic of a war. The Germans are nominal allies of ours. They paid in the young blood of two generations of their youth for their sins. There is no modern reason to vilify people of German decent for the actions of a bohemian corporal Socialist of 80 years ago.
