The NewSpeak thing is totally here and I find it maddening so many accept it, missing the loss-of-freedom of it.
It seemed so inconceivable that that I dismissed NewSpeak as fantastic, over-the-top hyperbole when I read it as a child. Who would do such a thing?
And here we are living the whole damn book now.
